Sig question: what is 1.0.0?

In some sigs I see numbers in the format "1.0.0 eastern."

Does this mean you have an eastern garter, 1 foot 0 inches long?

Re: Sig question: what is 1.0.0?

no, it means it's male
0.1.0 means it's female
0.0.1 means you don't know
i.2.3 means you got a male, 2 females, and three you're not sure about
what've you got?

Male.Female.Unsexed

So, say you had one male, two female and 4 unsexed Python reticulatus (Reticulated Python), you would write it in the following format...

1.2.4 Python reticulatus

I never knew what they meant either. Pretty neat.
