I SNATCHED this little guy!!!
so I was browsing today... and I popped on a site and it happened to be someone I have dealt with a few times with wonderful results! Well... I saw he had 3 ball pythons for sale, just labeled "fancy" ball pythons as he always has them. He sells all his balls for $75... and when I saw this one.... I snatched it! I am almost positive that this is a Spider ball python... a snake that normally sells for $500-$600! Even if its not, which I honestly think it is after doing my homework on spiders, it is still a weird patterned ball! it is not sexed yet, I am awaiting an email with the sex of the snake (already paid for) now.
Needless to say... I am ECSTATIC! I am currently losing my old boy Snub... my lovely male ball who I think age is getting the best of, and have been shopping around for a baby black-eyed ball shaped companion for a while now. My boyfriend keeps saying RESELL RESELL and I am like no!!! I like him!! (or her)... he is so cute and I can't wait for his arrival sometime this week or next! Here is his pic, this was taken 3/18. It needs a name guys!!!

see that one mark on it that looks like you flicked a big booger and it went SPLAT on its side?
I am thinking about naming it splat

ive seen lots of spiders, my freind breeds them, doesnt look like it to me, usually most of their pattern is gone from the sides and is mostly on the top if any, and they have white coming up from the sides in speckles

It sure is cute!!
Splat sounds like an appropriate name. The only other thing I can think that those markings resemble are amoebas. And somehow I just don't see "Amoeba" working as a name!

I have spoken with several breeders, he is most likely not a spider but he COULD be, because not all spider balls have those white specklings, but I am now leaning towards a woma or high Reduced pattern... no matter what he is.. hes LOVELY and I cant wait to see that delivery guy at my front door!!!
