An interesting observation...

Well, seeing as my garter seem to be avoiding slugs after my little disaster, I ended up with around 5-6 leopard slugs left over. So, I threw them to my lobster cockroach colony. You'd think they were the velociraptors from Jurassic Park! They ripped the slugs to shreds! Many of them appeared to be adult females, probably going for the protein.
So, if you have roach colonies, throw some other bugs *Preferably wounded or soft-bodied.* for them to eat! Note, don't use raw meat, fish, etc.
