Well i took some pictures of my lovely King Rat snake, Ra. I named him Ra after the egyptian sun god

nope, the king rat has not made a stink for me, ever! He has pooed but it just smells like... poo! He won't musk!!! I had him outside today and was even chasing him full speed through the grass... on purpose... but he still won't get defensive! He is a HIGHLY alert snake though... i love how smart and visual he is!

My king rat reminds me of the famous indigo!!! but i dont need a permit to have him and in my opinion, he is prettier

Also, baby birds are everywhere! there is a robin's nest right outside my front door in our shred leaf japanese red maple! It's getting kinda cramped in there...

You're right E.carinata is pretty, and intelligent, and fascinating, I love them, but....
I was once musked by one... I can't get the horror of the stench out of my head!
