Re: end of the hibernation

It's not far from -5 Fahrenheit here, and I just went for a nice 5km walk. Maybe we'll get real winter weather, it's been a bit of a disappointment so far.

Re: Cold

here in Holland it didn't get any colder than 5° C (50° F) so far. But now the temperature is getting colder.
Lucky for me it's noway getting as cold as where you all live, I think I would freeze to dead

Re: Cold

It should normally be around -15C to -20C here, but it's barely below freezing right now.

Re: Cold

Last week we had about 55 degrees. Usually we have a lot of snow at this time. Just this week it was getting colder and it seems that the winter will come now.

Re: Cold

You know... this is an El Nino year. I'm not sure how Europe is affected, but our weather in the U.S. is very unusual. Here in Alaska, we've had a LOT more snow than normal. There is about 4 feet (1.3 meters) of snow at sea level, and the local ski lodges have about 25 feet (8.3 meters) in the mountains. It's snowing again today, but at least it's beautiful!
