Re: August 2nd Hamburg, PA

thanks everybody...it went really good. i made 292 profit after everything i got....1.1 white sided rats and 0.0.1 albino stripped cal king.

Only thing that went sour today was that the so called checkered garters i bought from a dealer a few shows back turned out to be not checkered garters.

sorry again shannon

Re: August 2nd Hamburg, PA

Justin
I was there and I didn't see you
friends let us use their car and it was sort of a last minute thing

wow guys - I have to tell you . . .
I'd never been to this show, and we got there pretty late (3pm-ish), so some of the vendors had already packed up, but we got to see a lot and I brought pics

because we were late, I didn't take notes, so our resident experts will have to fill us in with some of the species specifics

I need to add here, that I really went to just look and really didn't think I was going to fall in love or anything like that
and no - I didn't come home with a hot snake, but I now totally understand how that can happen, and I really want to learn how to handle them safely some day

the lighting was atrocious of course . . .

Re: August 2nd Hamburg, PA

Oh no, Rhea, I´m still far away from that.
Is it only my impression?
The boxes are looking quiet small.
But at least nice shots of interesting creatures.

Nice snakes, Rhea! In order, I believe them to be;

Bitis gabonica
Trimeresurus albolabris
Bothriopsis (or is it Bothriechis now) bilineatus
Atheris squamiger
Naja something

Re: August 2nd Hamburg, PA

Udo
what amazed me, was how exquisitely beautiful some of them are
most of them are just babies - hence the small boxes

thanks, James

and I did come home with something (not hot)
pics later
