Re: 2 Headed Dekayi snake

This animal has been alive in the wild for at least a few months, I am wondering if the esophagus' are conjoined, or if only the primary head eats.

The head that is in alignment as if normal would most likely be the most functional. The head off to the side, may have plumbing problems.

Wayne, if you get it please send me some detailed pics. As a bio teacher the anatomy of this poor thing intrigues me.

Re: 2 Headed Dekayi snake

I hope it survives whoever has it right now.... they are so little and fragile they can't go very long without food and drinking! Not to mention that one who's already got enough problems with two heads! The albino scott gave me was already showing signs of dehydration just probably from not having eaten for a while (hes nice and plump now!)

Whats up with weird dekays turning up all the sudden? First, my albino, and now this....

I really really hope that they don't see green....

Oh, the poor little thing... I hope you can get it too, Wayne, because then we'd know it was taken care of. Poor little guy already has a hard enough start on life, he didn't need to be captured by someone who doesn't know what they're doing!
