Re: 2 Headed Dekayi snake

Did you know that Chang and Eng, the first Siamese twins, each had a wife (twins themselves) who lived a mile apart? And they each had loads of children. You have to feel sorry for the wives, really - they were permanently being cheated on.

Good luck with the little guys, Wayne! I hope you get to look after them!

Re: 2 Headed Dekayi snake

Bad news, Not only did the family not answer the emails, they must have got a lot of them, my mail is now being returned as undeliverable.

Shoot, even a better detailed picture would have been nice....

Re: 2 Headed Dekayi snake

Here's a question: Is that one snake or two?

From what I can tell, even though the pictures are not real good quality they do not appear to have any photo manipulation performed on them.

The location and angle of the second head remains consistent.

Secondly, the person who posted on craigslist seemed very sincere in asking how to care for it.

Re: 2 Headed Dekayi snake

I was referring to the fact that people talk about two-headed animals as if they were just one individual that happens to have two heads, but consider them two separate individuals when they're talking about people.

No, I could have been a lot more clear than I was.

Re: 2 Headed Dekayi snake

Had I been lucky enough to actually get my hands on this super rare snake, I WAS going to name it Ying Yang.

But I would have considered it one animal with two heads, not two animals with one common body

Gives a whole new meaning to "thinking with the wrong head"
