what a difference a day makes!
I checked in on my Brazilian Rainbow Boa & couldn't believe how big she was on Monday night!
  Tuesday night when I got home she was moving around the cage, by morning she had her babies!    22 healthy babies! There was also 3 that were not developed completely with yoke sacs still connected to them. That is pretty good. 2 years ago she only had 12 if I remember right. She is 6 years old & this her second clutch. Sadly she is blind in one eye. Not sure what happened, but she is healthy other than that. Thanks for looking, Jerry<>< |

Your Boa is gorgeous!!! WOW 22 babies!! I thought those snakes had eggs, I guess I was wrong. I am still learning all this stuff. Congrats!!

Great pictures Jerry! I love how she had them in a neat little pile for you. Even though I know it's not the case, she looks like she's watching over and mothering her brood.
