And here are some of my feathered friends!
Mourning doves: ![]() Some I took a couple weeks ago when we still had snow! Red wing blackbird on the feeder (taken through the window, so they're not the best! )![]() Common grackle, and red wing blackbird. Also some stupid pigeons-they bug me! ![]()

Re: The Nature Photography Thread
..so I went out for a little walk, which turned into an urban midnight herping trip. Found one Rana temporaria and nearly a dozen Bufo bufo (including roadkills, which I won't post here without moderator approval) altogether during the first 3 kilometers, but I didn't have my camera with me. So I changed my plans, went back home to get the camera and walked the same route again. Here are the results.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() These last two are the same toad from two different angles. And when I started walking home, I saw some kind of accident. ![]() They were taking down a circus tent and a single fire engine showed up with the lights on but no siren, followed by a police van. No ambulance, but apparently something was going on.
