Re: The Nature Photography Thread

aww thats such a cute bird, i was biking out of my driveway onetime and i looked to the side and saw two giant eyes and i jumped off my bike because i didnt know what it was and it scared me, turned out it was a baby owl, i warmed her up and took her to the nearest rescue animal shelter, they fed her gatorade and put her on a heating pad, by morning she was fine, i visited her many times before she was released

That's interesting, I never knew that. Even with my vet tech training I don't remember ever hearing about that enzyme...cool, learn something new everyday!

Re: The Nature Photography Thread

Learned it from a wildlife rehabber after I had a baby bird die on me... he had been eating like a monster and then still died, with a full crop. Live and learn, and leave the wildlife rehabbing to the experts!!!

This momma wouldn't let me get within 25 feet, lol, she's a very good mom!!

This momma just has one:

I had to snatch one for close ups!!

These are my first baby duckies! Have always had lots of chicks, but never had breeding ducks before.

He's still got his little egg tooth on the tip of his beak. :-) When I put him down, he started following me instead of going back to his momma!! Had to usher him back home. :-)
