 we went to dc today and saw all the memorials it was really neat!!!

 So that's all I managed to photograph this weekend. No frogs, no lizards, no snakes, no insects or spiders. I blame the weather. It has been sunny and fairly warm in the sun, but overall it's been pretty cold due to the wind. And it's too damn dry.

It's been pretty cold here too. I haven't been out to look for any nature lately........we still have frost warnings in the forecast for the coming week!
I've usually got the pool up and running by this time of year. What happened to the global warming???

I think there are just a handful of snake species in the world that could swallow that one. They can grow to about 3-5 times the weight of an ordinary rabbit*.
And I sure as hell wouldn't feed it to anything. As you said, it is indeed a lovely steak. *(James, "That's no ordinary rabbit." )
