Funny you should mention skunks. After running into the raccoon, I kept thinking, "Oh my goodness, I'm sure glad it wasn't a skunk out there instead!"
I don't want to startle one of those, however cute they may be!

Lol, point well taken...I dont think the babies can spray until they get a little older but even their mother had no interest in spraying me. I guess I wasn't threatening enough...and once they use their spray it takes a bit to replenish it. I was surprised how close they let me get and they didn't even run away....just slowly waddled. It was really quite cute.
