While on holiday, I also made a herping trip in Belgium with an experienced herper. Weather was not really good ( actually to good, to sunny and hot ), but still found some nice reptiles.

Which snake are you referring to? All the snakes are grass snakes (Natrix natrix). Except the one that's a legless lizard.

Yeah, most of the grass snakes we have here, don't actually have a full ring around their neck, just one blotch on each side. This one had a ring plus a set of extra blotches, as you can see in the second picture.
