Re: Late Easter eggs

Keep me posted on the result. I remember that I also found it very strange and asked the question about alternata myself. But as said, I've never investigated it myself as the Thamnophis fever kicked in by then.

Re: Late Easter eggs

Right. I'm also definitely more interested at Thamnophis spec. Before we buyed the greeri's, we thought about buying alternas. That's why I had a look about this topic then. I'll keep you informed if I do it again.

Re: Late Easter eggs

The time has come. My first babies are here

Sadly only 2 of the 4 hatched. 1 coudln't open the egg (I just said to me - if he didn't get it alone, he's not strong enough). And the other one looks like he died some time before.

Altough, I'm very happy about those two little guys.

Number 1 (he's very "aggressive" as you see...very cute :-):

Once again.

And number 2:

Best,
Cyrill

Re: Late Easter eggs

Very nice! It's always fun if such a little one is so "aggressive"

Like stainless steel. Really worth its scientific name.

Re: Late Easter eggs

Hey congrats on the two hatchlings! I've got thayeri eggs "cooking" now. My female dropped 9 of them!!!! Wasn't expecting this many from her first breeding. So far all of them look really good except for one. It's been about two weeks now and the others are still nice and white and just getting bigger.
