You can have as many as you want if you head on over to central iowa. It seemed like there were hundreds of them out where we were. I'm going out again later when it cools down a bit to try my luck again.
That's pretty much what I was going to say. I don't see any amphibians, I see snake food! The tadpoles sure look like snake foo.. I mean bullfrog larvae to me. See the little black ones? Believe it or not, it only takes about 45 days for them to get the size of those big ones.

The green slime and other organic debris at the bottom is much easier to catch. I'm pretty sure those are bullfrog tadpoles too. That's what they look like when they first hatch.

Well, went back for round two. Little later in the day, cooled of a bit....Snakes 2 : Plissken 0. Found some more toads and frogs though. Guess I'll just have to keep at it.
