Just let you all know
my life has been utter craziness with this house thing
I am bombarded with reams of paperwork, requiring me to sort through a child's life worth of poorly filed records.
I am having hissy fits, nervous breakdowns, crying spells, cursing feasts, and fits of catatonic collapse on a daily basis.
My family is suffering too - Jeff silently and supportively, Mikhaila with pleas for attention (I'll skip the details). Even the beardie is becoming a bit constipated and I'm totally neglecting the feeders at times
anyway
I got to go now
I just wanted to say:
this place has been my oasis

Hello Rhea ... happy saturday to you

... I know exactly how you feel. Interesting that 'care-givers' like yourself always notice the differences in the behavoirs of those that depend upon them when we are unable to give 110%. My father-in-law had a leg amputated while I was medicating my "Blue" garters. I would come home from the hospital so exhausted and emotionally spent and there those girls were ... waitng for their next dose ... hang in there and you are right ... this forum is just SUPER !!!

Hang in there Rhea. Moving house is always a trauma, we predicted that! You'll soon be all done and living in a lovely new home.

Glad we could be a sanctuary of sanity for you here.

Moving is always a really stressful time, but it'll be sooo much nicer when it's finally done and you can start making your new place into a home.

Hey Rhea,

I know it doesn't seem like it, but each hour spent working toward a difficult goal gets you one hour closer toward being finished. I like to remind myself of that when I can't see my own progress. Also, be sure to remind yourself of your priorities in life and give most of your time to what's most important. You'll feel a lot better if you can devote at least one uninterupted hour toward quality time with Mikhaila each day. Maybe take a walk to an ice cream shop to just get away. Then come back and deal with the house issue without feeling guilty about dividing your time. It'll all eventually come together, so hang in there.
