    Snake found in garage... what kind is it??

    Please help identifying this snake.

    Milk snake as stated by Stefan.
    Use vegetable oil to get the snake off. Poor it along the snake and use your fingernail to scape the snake loose.
    Using enough oil will keep the snake from being trapped again as you get it off.
    It's a slow process but you should be able to get the poor thing off.

    Probably should have mentioned, I keep this species as captives. They are harmless and perform essential rodent control.

    If you keep him you should name him Oscar. Just a suggestion. I hope hes ok though. Good luck . Hes pretty.
    I wanted to Thank you Steve for your help with the heating pad.

    I have 4 Easterns(mine: Furbie and Whiplash; moms: Diamond and Silky) all are 5 and half months old. So much fun gaters are.
