I've just received a spanking new, shrink-wrapped copy of the this "garter bible". I've only had a quick flick through the book, but it's a good size hardback, and I'm happy it was worth the (steep) price.
I think you need to know enough about garters to pick out the bits in the book that are outdated (e.g. some of the sub-species that are no longer recognised), but my initial thoughts are that it's a great book and I'll be reading it this evening. Possibly cover to cover.

I'm glad to hear you got your copy! I find myself referencing it while on the forum constantly. I keep it right in front of my computer. Occasionally if I need to attest to something, I put my right hand on the book...hold my left hand on a garter...and say..."I Marnie do swear to all garters...".

I'm not actually a gynecologist...but i'll take a look.
