k like 0mGz0r where are the snakeys!!!! (field herping)

Well, I finally decided that I would get my boy some company in his 5ft X 2ft X 2ft cage and off I went today to find him a friend. I went to the spot I found my original snake it, and where I've found dozens of garters. Right along a nice drainage/creek type deal. Flipped wood and stones watched the walkway frequently, found 1 young garter the entire time.. K so I'm assuming the construction last year scared them off. Where would be a good place to look for to find another garter? I'm kinda puzzled now on where to go. Any help is appreciated.

I guess you need to find a similar locale (drainage/creek) which hasn't been recently disturbed by construction work.

omg stands for "oh my god" and "zor" (sometimes -orz, or -zorz) is just there to "enhance" it (roxorz, for example means that something rocks very very much).

In short: he's excited and wants to find snakes, very very much. To be honest, I'd only use that kind of language while mocking people that use it frequently.

Thankyou for enlightening me, Stefan. As you already know I'm a bit out of touch with the whole text/chat abbreviation thing. Must be my age!

Yeah, I feel I'm too old for that particular style. But some of the abbreviations are pretty handy at times.

Re: k like 0mGz0r where are the snakeys!!!! (field herping)

;*) I am a gamer, and a top gamer on command and conquer 3 (I'm top 500, probably 50). Anyways I just went back and I found a few.
Found 2 babys, 1 got away, 1 I let get away, not really wanting a baby unless its super nifty colored. ;*) Saw one just like mine except a foot shorter on the side of the path, could have caught it, curled up and striked at me for awhile while i examined it. Last one was brownish with red hints, I saw this snake and went after it instantly, however it was half sticking out a hole, at the sight of me it quickly went back down. I dug furiously after the said snake but was only created with spiders, centapedes, worms, and an unually large orange cricket. Was dirt on top of a bunch of branches so who knows where it went!

Also so a shed skin in a rodent hole, big shed skin looking female but I'm no expert. Couldn't find said snake. ;*(

I shall go out earlier tommorow, maybe I will find one in the morning as it suns itself.
