@Don: We went to 3 breeders that day. Those central american species are not from Fons. But the breeder who has them, always has some very rare animals in his care... And I'm on his waiting list, so maybe next year

They maybe meant that you shouldn't place the snakes' enclosure in direct sunlight, where the snake can't retire to shade if it needs to. An outdoor enclosure is quite different, offering ample opportunity for it's inhabitants to thermoregulate freely.
