First Tamnophismeeting in the Netherlands
The number of Dutch garterkeepers is growing almost by the day, so therefore Gijs and me decided to organize a Thamnophismeeting for a small group of Dutch (and Belgium
) garterkeepers. So last sunday the third of june it was that day. At 9:00 am we meet at Steven Bol his place. He's got quite an impressive collection and very rare species. And he also got an outside enclosure (not sure if this is the right word) with T.s.pickeringii and T.radix radix. We were also very lucky to witness the birth of melanistic easterns !! ![]() ![]() |

It looks like you had a good day, Sabine. I like the outdoor enclosure, it looks great. Will Steven be breeding the T. eques? I am not familiar with the sub-species cuitzeonensis.

Re: First Tamnophismeeting in the Netherlands
@ Adamanteus: Yes, he will breed them this year. It's a night active species that uses his white tail, by moving it like a worm, to attract prey. You can see that in the pic.
