Found....1/3 of a snake..
I found this garter snake skeleton just like this in Kansas. I am guessing it's a garter due to where I found it, lots of red siders. The skeleton is to narrow for a water snake or the crayfish snakkes found at this pond. Cool find!!!

I was more than surprised when found it...was hunting for red siders at this pond..lifted a rock and there it was....absolutely amazed me!!!

Under a rock... well that is why it stayed in good condition... and I wonder if the rock shifted and that is what killed it... or was it sick and just crawled in there to recuperate and did not make it...
