Baby Snakes in my Yard (need advice)

My mother has found 2 garter snakes in the back yard. She does not want them in the garden, nor in the yard. Is keeping them easy, or will it be a bother? are they dangerous?

If you're sure it are garter snakes, they are not dangerous.
Keeping them is not that difficult. There are a lot of websites that tell you how to do that.
For example:

Probably a good thing. If your mother didn't want them in the garden or the yard I can't imagine she would want them in the house.
