feeding question
mother in law asked a place today about my garter and whether we should be feeding it fish or not, they said that i gotta feed it some fish in its diet as well as pinkies or itll die through not havng enough nutriants, can anyone help please. thanx

Chris, didn't you ask this question yesterday in another thread? Maybe it was someone else!! Vary the diet as much as you can, don't use Goldfish or other fish containing thiaminase. But to be honest you won't go far wrong on a pinky diet. Have a good read through this:

I further agree with what James say. But personally I think that every meal or every second meal should contain some fish. This is more a feeling from me than a scientific statement.

I have never used garter grub, but I know Alan Francis has used it. As far as I know, it is a decent food, but again, I would make sure they get variety... not just garter grub.
