Not to quickly change the subject... well yes, to quickly change the subject... Here's another really nice cage design with plans for how to make it (Striking Serpents/Boa & Python Photo Gallery). I bet if Hilde's incredible design and these brilliant plans were merged, it would make an awesome vivarium. One might need to add a "door skirt" between the two sliding panes of glass to make it escape proof for garters.

I've seen many nice fake rock backgrounds Hilde but yours just might be the nicest one yet. I could probably get to the 4th step alright but I don't have the artistic talent to get the final paint colors right. Still, I am even more encouraged to try now that I see what kind of results can be attained.

did you just glue 3 pieces of glass/plastic to the terrerium wall? and how high is the pool??

also-what kind of water do you put in it??

Love the pool idea. I tried it once, years ago but I messed it up and it started to leak after a few weeks. I'll stick to working with wood! Nice job.
