and I will certainly post later but I just couldn't help posting appropriate song lyrics (most of ours aren't pink though) Baby Snakes Late at night is when they come out Baby Snakes Sure you know what I'm talkin' about Pink 'n wet They make the best kinda pet Baby Baby Snakes I looked around An' there's a couple right near me Baby Snakes Maybe I think they can probably hear me Pink 'n wet I'll take all I can get Baby Baby Baby Sna-a-a-a-a-a-akes, Yeah

Oh you should see how tiny they are in my nightmares.
 About the size of 0.7 pencil lead.  How big is that tetra compared to a hatchling grass snake? Or, newborn garters compared to hatchling grass snakes.

Quite a bit smaller, Stefan. They seem really delicate compared with other baby Garters I've had. Less enthusiastic about feeding too, they don't gorge themselves like other babies.
