nice pictures roy, im glad they are doing good! sorry i didnt see you in hamburg. the only garters i saw were checkereds and red spotteds, were where the blues you got? we were looking for some , my girlfriend wanted to get some. how are the easterns doing?

Yeh, actually there were quite a few garters at the show. The blues that I got were at Don Hamper's table. Every now and then he has some nice ones, one year there were some flames there, but a bit out of my price range. Also saw what I think were some young T.e.elegans as well and some baby T.p.rubrilineatus that were really temping. Figured though between the blues and the garters I got from you, better hold off for a while...LOL. The easterns are doing well, the one is a great eater, but the other one is still kind of off and on for feeding....at least it's eating something. Here's a pic of the one that is eating. ![]()

Success!
Well today I'm happy to say that ALL my garter babies took scented pinky parts. Very happy....very good step for them to becoming longterm conpanions.
Also my one pallidulus that wasn't eating, successfully was force fed a bit of trout fillet. Took him a bit to swallow it, but hopefully this will be the turning point for him. Going to feed him again tomorrow.Roy
