Re: new babys
Hi
I have recently been blessed with 40 eastern babies!!!!!!! Feeding them is quite a chore. I find that there are some who will eat guppies... some who will eat pieces of minnow (frozen, thawed, cut into tiny pieces)... and some who will eat small wild caught worms (we call them dug worms here, but they are young nightcrawlers - do not feed trout worms, also called red wigglers). All of the babies are offered all three kinds of food... but there are definately differences of opinion among them as to what they like... and the same one that chooses a worm piece today, will choose a worm piece three or four days from now... So I would try all three foods sources, to see what they prefer.
