Congrats on the babies, I don't think I'd take the mom to the vet yet though.

Inge, I think it might be a while before Mexican species make it to the UK. They're high on my wish list too, but I think we have a long wait!

Re: OMG....Babies!!!

Well I was talking to the vet, wich is going to do all the paperwork for my garter to be registered, he said that the main problem for export are the customs (pay duty) in the border. And unfortunatelly I don't know people on the border to ask the legal aspects as these are born in captivity, I may sell them if I want to...but, they are so cute, I'm planning to set free one or two into their habitat.

Well here are more pictures...this one is the yellow striped, and yep...black belly too

Re: OMG....Babies!!!

If i could buy them Robert, I'd be first on the list! There is a market there! Just be careful of your local laws!

Re: OMG....Babies!!!

Congratulations, they look very pretty! Hopefully they'll start eating soon

I think more people than you think are interested in them, but like James says, get to know your laws before you get into this adventure. It's nice to hear that you'll put some back in the wild.
