Could be the bite, or it's general aggressiveness.

Re: Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium

I'm glad you all liked it, it was very fun and informable, there we're all kind of cats from Asia, and Africa, a long with a Black Rhino, some Elephants, all kinds of Apes, and the Aquarium was kool also with Polar Bears, Sea Otters, and huge aquariums of fish, most of which were salt water......
The thing that was a little upsetting is that they really didn't have many Reptiles...... but all in all it was pretty fun......

p.s. there was much more, but to much to list.......
the Zoo is on 77 acers of land......man I can only wish....

Nice pictures!

I've always heard that Heloderma is not that much fun to have. Most of the time they just lay there... like in nature. But I have to admit, they look great.

About the Heloderma... I work with them in the zoo, but they really are very inactive and just lay around the whole day.
They look great, but I would not want them as a pet in my house.
