Re: My Big Eastern...
There were 42 plus 2 did not make it for a total of 44. They are a lot bigger than the other babies that I have. Moma eastern ate today, so will probably release her tomorrow. She is in pretty nice shape. Will let most of the babies go too. There are a couple that are really really nice. Some look like normal easterns, but a few have almost no stripe or markings. Looks like colorwise my snakes are all mixes genetically. Will try to post some photos of the unusual ones.

Re: My Big Eastern...
Well I just release "big eastern". I was playing with the babies and the top was off the viv. I turned around and she had climbed almost all of the way out and was looking at me, so I decided that it was time. Let her go at the end of the pool where I found her, she is a really nice snake. I will miss her.
Down to 3 now Buddy, Green Girl and Gee Gee (for garter girl) not counting of course the 80 babies.![]()

Re: My Big Eastern...
Good job letting her go, I'm sure the 80 babies will keep you busy enough!

Re: My Big Eastern...
Ultimately I am not planning on keeping any. Some will be adopted into good homes, but the vast majority will be released. That is the one nice thing about having wild snakes, I can do the fun stuff all over again next year.
There is one however...... ![]() ![]()
