I don't know of any maritime morphs, I think a maritime is actually closer to a morph of an eastern really.

Good news! I have found a home for all 40 of the Big Easterns kids. They are going to Ithaca College for a research study on nutrition and growth rates of baby eastern garters. After the study is completed they will be returned to the wild. Pretty good deal, and they should have a better chance of survival with a little size to them. Taking them down Monday and hope to get a tour of the Natural Sciences facility. The young man that is doing the study is a real "snake guy" (milk snakes though, but he still seams OK). Interesting the way things work out.

Very cool, that's interesting...would like to hear the results of the study. Funny too, my sister works at Ithica college...I'm going up to visit her in Oct. Do you live close to Ithica Terry?
