Shed skin after my normal feeding day = Picture time!
My male decided to shed yesterday so he didn't get to eat over the weekend with the female, so I got him a few pinkies. He has eaten 5 so far but there are 2 more left in the cage for the male or the female whichever wants them, the female got less on the weekend anyway.
They eat so quick... ![]() ![]() |

Very cool pic....umm isn't that a lot of pinkies for one snake? I know pinkies and mice in general are a lot higher in fat then usual garter foods like fish, frogs, worms and such......don't want your snakes getting obeses.

You could feed them fuzzies, they're lower in fat and higher in calcium than pinkies.

Re: Shed skin after my normal feeding day = Picture time!
Roy- not getting obese at all, the male gets around 4-6 a week and the female gets 6-8 a week. They don't get obese....
Elliot- I ordered only pinkies from rodent pro and until they are gone I won't be getting anything else. No reason to waste money. Although once I do order I'll probably get some fuzzies, adult mice, and some small rats. My female should be able to take small rats without problems... |
