our garters

well i was cleaning the garter cages today and figured i would take some pictures while i had the snakes out of there cages and in plastic totes.

pair of red spotted


pair of californian red spotted


1 male albino eastern, 1 female het


1 female eastern, 1 female maritime


2 female albino checkered, 1 male het


if anyone knows all the scientific names please let me know, i know some but not all of them

I was first going to post my entire list of 31 species, but I decided it would only turn the discussion into a debate over which species and subspecies are recognized and which aren't.

On second thought, that might be material for a new thread..

does the fact that they are either albino or het for albino change they sceintific name?

well maybe the albino, but I don't think the hets do.....
