any tips on how to
get my red-sided male to eat strips of salmon when it comes to fish he gobbles it downn (his names phatty) but he wont eat then strips of salmon. he just watches the other one eat it then goes to his water bowl to look for fish.. what should i do?

I would try dangling it in front of him to simulate movment of live prey.

Yep that's true, I was concerned about the babies, so I had to force feed them twice, but today they started to pieces of trout, so be patient.
They will eat.  Also...check their temperature, I found that it may be the reason for not eating, well just my experience |
