Re: About the shed
She could have eaten it, but not too likely.
Are you SURE she has shed? The eyes clear up for a day or so before the shedding actually happens. I just witnessed the first shed of my snakie, and before she did it, I thought she already had. Then that evening, I saw the old skin under some 'furniture' in her tank, and removed it.. Adding some humidity to the tank can help the snake shed more easily, if it's about to. I placed a damp towel in my tank for a couple days, and ended up with a perfect, one-piece skin. |

Re: About the shed
Yep...her eyes are clear now. The skin looks more... mmm how can I explain, the stripes are more colorful, the head looks shinny...and the rest of the body is matte (really dark green). Yesterday she didn't want food...today she finished all of it. I have a "lake" on my terrarium, so the humidity is fine...I guess

Re: About the shed
I've seen it get buried under substrate and tucked into corners or cracks, and as of a matter of fact, I found one of the babies sheds under the hide last night................so I'd either keep looking or maybe she hasn't yet...
although anything is possible and maybe she did eat it, you just have to look every where and if you don't find it just asume she ate it..... ![]()

Re: About the shed
If her eyes were still clouded over yesterday, she probably has not shed yet. The eyes clear up first with the body remaining dull looking for a few day, then the shed.
