first day i bought both my garder snakes petco put them in a box,,,well i decided to put them in the back floor board under my 5 yr olds feet,,,his feet just barely could touch the top of the box so i figured it was ok,,,well we get home,,was 1 hr drive home,,,i get the box out and the other box with my new red eared slider turtle was in,,walk inside,,,i go to put the turtle in and i opened the wrong box...i opened the snake box,,,what do u know,,,,EMPTY!! i started looking around the house and remembered my gf saying that one end of the box came open in the car but she quickly closed it when she noticed it,,never checking inside,,,i tore the house apart,,no snakes,,then called petco and said where is my snakes? thinking somehow i ended up with a empty box and my snakes were at the store,,,nope,,then i remembered the open box in the car,,went outside,,,,checked everywhere,,no snakes,,,waited about 30 mins and went back outside,,,i seen one garter in the floor board after tearing the car apart,,had went thru the whole trunk and started back in the car looking for the other exscape artist,,,my girlfriend hates snakes and she was freaking out due to the missing ones,,,she was standing near the trunk when what do u know,,,the big snake sticks his head up and out of some trunk carpet linning,,,she looked down and screamed (there it is) i ran over and had to coax him out of the metal piece cause i did not want to grab and pull him thru it,,,finally he was put in his tank,,,,man what a wonderful first day with these two........
