Re: my new corn snake?? pics inside
cage sharing for those different snakes seems not good to me.
Corns are much less active than garters, furthermore garters are active in daytime while corns are active during dawn and night. That might cause stress. |

The Corns are VERY likely to eat your garters !! I have had Corn babies eat each other. PLEASE seperate them ...
Best Wishes,

Re: my new corn snake?? pics inside
I don't know anything about corn snakes, but all this sounds ominous indeed! Please separate them, because as beautiful as your new corns are, your garters are equally beautiful, and I don't want to read about any terrible accidents!

Re: my new corn snake?? pics inside
Hello ... I believe a good deal depends upon their natural, 'wild' diet. For instance the Miami phase Corns are huge lizard eaters. If their natural (wild) diet consists of reptiles then that phase (Miami for sake of this example) would be more inclined to eat a snake. A reptile is a reptile if you know what I mean. Corns and Garters are very different animals. Personally I would not house Corns of different sizes together. The bigger the size difference the greater the urgency to seperate them.
Best of Luck,
