In truth, my wife has very long natural nails much like Shaynas', which she protects with an acrylic overlay. I have painted them once or twice for her, as I'm a bit 'arty'. No need to worry about me!

Good, and if I ever get over the pond on a vacation, I know where to get MY nails done!!

I don't know anything about gels etc, but I can paint some lovely patterns or pictures on nails, better than some of the stuff I've seen shops turn out. As I say, I'm a bit 'arty'. My avatar is one of my works.

"Arty" is a good thing! Never noticed before that your avatar was actually hand made -- nice job! I think we've turned Shayna's thread into something entirely different than what she intended, so I'm going to let the Rook admirers have their say again now!!! Must go clean my house.........blahhhhh!

lol thats ok, my lfe has been so crazy stressfull latey with work(manager in hospital, I have had to take over with not one single staff member to help me, so I have been working 9-6 shifts with NO help and NO breaks whatsoever for the past week and I am working this weekend, then monday/tuesday I have to pull more 9-6 shifts) I was litterally at my breaking point today so trust me, I needed the diversion and amusement!
