![]() Well .... I decided Squiggles is soooo groovy that he/she/it should have it's own thread ![]() Baby Squiggles arrived last Friday and has been the perfect example of a daft little Garter - poking it's head up from the delivery box and staring at me as if saying : "What the heck are you???" This was followed by a squiggly 5 minutes of handling until I decided this was a bit of a crazy task any advice on handling a speedy baby would be apprechiated, I've managed to have a relatively calm 15 minutes with Squiggles twice so far.On his first day he managed to battle his moving in present (a worm which seemed capable of constricting Squiggles but lost out to serpent power before long) which amazed me how many snakes eat on the first day?The second day I tested Squiggles with a 'main course' - a lovingly prepared slice of trout. I was about to remove this when I thought I'd cut it a little thick but Squiggles latched on to this and forced it down his little throat another result. There's been lots of fun and games since then and I guess I felt like typing this out because I'm really chuffed with my little snake. Best christmas present I've ever had ... and .... he had his second slivver of trout today .Go Squiggles!!!! (I apologise for this soppy snakelover post .... be warned .... there are more to come)

Re: Squiggles' Thread
I'm glad to hear your little Squiggles is doing so well! Very pretty little snake, too. I also have a Squiggles but she is a different type of snake.
Keep sending pics, we get vicious if you don't... :-) |

Re: Squiggles' Thread
I do believe I'm beginning to see a vague clouding of the eyes first shed in my home approaching? Could well be .
