Re: Deejay's latest pics!

Thanks, everyone!
This camera is kind of fun to have. Now all I need to do is remember to bring it with me when I go to important events. I carry it around at home to take pics of the snakes, but leave it behind when I go to family gatherings, school concerts etc...

that's funny - I do the same thing
and when I do take it, I forget to take pics
who wants pics of people anyway?
just think of it this way:
someone finds the pics a century later, they're still gonna say "cool snake" about the snake pics - with the humans they're just gonna say "so who were those people?"

Exactly!! That's what I keep telling them, but somehow, people still tend to get slightly bent when you have hundreds of snake pictures but none of them!!!

Re: Deejay's latest pics!

LOLOL... that's so me... pics of all the animals by the thousands, but NO pics of my family to be found. Well, except for my nephew who is now 15 months old and has me enthralled. He's almost as cute as my critters.

Re: Deejay's latest pics!

I used to work at a photo processing lab back when film was a necessity, lol, and my coworkers would razz me, "what'd she take pics of this time?" "Puppies and kitties, always puppies and kitties..." Lol.

Re: Deejay's latest pics!

Actually, I do take quite a few of my nephew too! He's nearly 3 years old and he is such a beautiful child, I can't help but snap a few of him whenever I see him! He even has his own little photo album at my house!

Re: Deejay's latest pics!

Laura, I also worked at a photo place, managed a small local one for a few years. LOVED it. But all I ever developed and hung in the shop were pics of my animals too, lol!!! The owner had ancient equipment; we had to view every single pic on the negatives and adjust the color as it went thru. But it was a fun, interesting job. The local police would bring us their crime scene pics and THAT was really interesting, but occasionally horrible too!!

Anji, I've never been much of a kid person... never wanted any... until my nephew was born, and the first time I held him something just clicked. I adore that child more than I ever thought I would. Still don't really want one of my own, but love to see him and find that all of a sudden, I enjoy most of the kids I meet. He's the first baby in my immediate family in almost 20 years, so my whole family is just enthralled with that boy. But my sister is not an animal person and never comes over here... I want him to grow up around my animals, so as soon as he's a bit older I'll have to start nabbing him. I think she's going to have a coronary the first time he comes home with doggy prints on him!!
