Re: Deejay's latest pics!
Ok, that's too weird a coincidence... I was the assistant manager, we color corrected every print on the enlarger (it was a HUGE black behemoth of a machine), and I once mounted a roll of E-6 from the sheriff's dept that was of majorly nasty human remains in a shallow creek bed!

Re: Deejay's latest pics!
Lori, you'll be doing that boy a favour if you kidnap him every once in a while to come play with all the animals! My best memories as a child are of field trips in the woods, watching, and collecting, and inspecting all the wildlife we could find! And the education we got with it was priceless!!
Your sister will eventually get over the "animal souvenirs" he comes home with. A little fur and doggie drool won't hurt any!! ![]()

Re: Deejay's latest pics!
I agree with both of you whole heartedly!! If I had a kid, he'd sure as heck be out in the pastures and the woods with me every day. Between her and my mom, that kid rarely touches the dirt and it drives me nuts. He already has some small allergy issues and I keep telling her, he needs to get OUTSIDE more. But this is her first and I guess she's overly protective...

Re: Deejay's latest pics!
It seems to be the trend among new moms lately to be a bit overprotective. My sister went through it a little at first, and so have some of my friends who've recently had little ones. It doesn't often last much past the first couple years though.
Once those busy, busy 2-year-olds get going, the moms usually learn that they can only protect so far. And then they're just too exhausted from chasing them around to worry about it anymore!! And having a second child will most likely curtail even the most paranoid of new mothers......... ![]()
