Yeh, that is definitely one sharp looking snake. Hope it breeds true, would love to be able to have some like that one day. Still think the Blais line flames make this guy look down right dull though.

Re: red, redder, . . .
that is the reddest garter I've ever seen
it is a bit startling to look at, but since there's no bright green dorsal stripe or glitter, I don't find it offensively gaudy I doubt very much that anything like that is within my price range though even the regular flames and erythristics are a bit of a stretch I'm thinking of just emailing Scott to send me the reddest eastern female within my price range and seeing what turns up there's another little dilemma though the male currently shacked up with Sammy is het for both flame and erythristic, so the idea was to get him a mate that he could make some red babies with however - I really like him with Sammy the two of them are almost always curled up together, whereas in my parietalis tank noone is even in the same vicinity very often, unless it's for the heat and no - I don't think they're "in love", like humans might be, but obviously they enjoy each other's company more than the other guys do, and I enjoy watching their togetherness

Re: red, redder, . . .
it hadn't occurred to me, perhaps because the parietalis tank is such a bust, but with the easterns it might work
thanks - that's a great idea also if I get a baby this year, it won't be ready to mate for a couple of years anyway
