Re: My Puget Sound and Some Others

I'm glad everyone like my ammies!! I thought I was the only one who thought they seemed like they had that "extra touch" of personality. Weird.
And larean, that is really how it happened. He was all balled up so I plucked him out before he bit. He sat their for 30 seconds and then started to come out. SO cute!! He was like "whats that??" and he stretched out all long to look at the camera. Then he saw me behind it and started biting.

Beautiful Puget Sound garters. I have a thing for blue garters, so I'd say some of these guys are on the short list to add for my collection. I always hear keepers say they have calm, curious personalities. I'm sure they're a bit more relaxed then my similis.

Mine are a bit spazzy, but I don't handle them much. I will say, even when scared, they don't musk like other garters I've seen. That darn ribbon snake of Reeds can hit you from across the room, I swear...
