Just out of curiosity, I let Deejay crawl around on the screen top of Twister's tank, and there is definitely an attraction thing going on! This time HE was desperately trying to get up there to check her out.
Now I feel like a big meanie for tormenting them like that.......

The crazy little guy finally ate! He decided worms aren't so bad as long as they're very small.....
He's still a bit nervous about feeding, but at least I have confidence he'll come around.

That's great news, Anji. Maybe once he's taken worms a couple more times, you could 'post' a trout strip in behind it. Then maybe you can wean him onto more easily available foods.

Well of coarse he's hesitant to eat worms. Have you ever tried to eat one? They're gross !!

How's 'J' doing, Greg? It's been a while since we heard about him.

Now that I've posted this thread, I see that many snakes seem to like hiding out up in that ledge! I had forgotten, but Deejay used to do that too, until she got too fat to stay in there!

J's doing great mate .... loving his pinkies ... he's firmed up and added some length too .... but not as much as Slithers who has gained more than 2 inches since december .... on another note I found my old schoolbooks from when I did my handling study ... will formulate another post on that soon
