Excellent choice! I think you will be pleased with it!
I have no idea how the macro funtion on your camera is (it looks very good already ) But a nice thing with Finepix is that you can use macro filters. They will enhance / sharpen the pictures even more! (that with 10X(?) optical zoom will give awesome results!)

This camera has macro..... and 'super macro', which allows you to focus when the camera is only 1cm from the subject. I'm pleased with it. With a little practice I hope to produce much better pictures from now on.
