mating?
hello i recently had found some garters to take home sicne it is now spring and two days ago i found a huge garter by my house. so i thought i would bring it home to heal it since it had a really bad injury on its side, so i put some neosporin on it and it seems to be doing fine. but when i found the first garters of the year some were mating, thats how i found them and i decided to take two of them... after they scattered. but today i turned on their light and made sure every one was ok and they all came out and started ganging up on the huge garter i found. i am most positive it is a female becuase of its size, bigger than all the rest. they are tangling their tails up with hers and there is gooey stuff all over. are they mating with her? it looks to me that they are. they are going crazy! so what do you guys think? mating or no?i think they are but im not positive.
