Yay i found my 2nd reptile!!!! not a snake... but it's SOOOOOO cute!!!!!! try and guess what it is... i'll give you a hint he's smaller than a quarter...

do either of you have ANY idea what i should do with it???? i put it in an empty tank with water and fish rocks that slope up to create dry land... but what now???? what do i feed it????

First off you should try to identify what species it is. so you know what it eats and so you can make sure its legal to keep.

From New York, it is probably either a Red-Eared Slider or Painted turtle

well... i don't see any red on his head so maybe a painted???? although sliders are more common around my area

..... but i dont plan on keeping him... my mom would kill me if i told her i was...

but he's so cute.... any ideas on what to feed it for the next day or two???

If its an aquatic turtle, worms and bits of fish should work.

okay thanks... i put some worms in there but it hasn't touched them... i'll most likely bring it back tomarrow i would now but it's storming out...
