Yeah, I suspect there are too many critters at the house for the snakes to come too close... well, no, because we've always had black rat snakes, even had one come in the house thru the doggy door one day and we found him lounging across the kitchen counter. LOL And they usually are eating the chicken eggs by now. But haven't even seen them yet... maybe it's a bit early. I am in a bit of a rush for summer!!!! |

Some pics!!
Last night I gave her a bath, and for quite a while afterwards, she just snuggled up on my lap wrapped in a towel. Then she wandered around in my hands for a bit, so I had a great opportunity to snap a few nice shots. ![]() ![]() ![]()

it looks like some of the scales around the eye are also damaged isn't it amazing, how resilient they are? she's beautiful and I have a snake by that name also (not a garter)
